Blog # 3 Technology Lesson Reflection

A week or so ago  I had the chance of making my own classroom including Technology strategies and it was one of the most exciting assignments I’ve had to do all semester.  I am not going to lie, going into this assignment and knowing I had to build my own online classroom from scratch was a bit intimidating. Before I had taken this course, I was very close-minded and always wanted to use the same apps to create PowerPoint, videos, and other ways of creating work.  After this LMS lesson, I gained a lot more experience and feel more confident in my technology skills. We had some options to choose which app to use to create this classroom, and I chose Google Classroom. Being new to all this, I navigated through the website and looked at a lot of YouTube videos to see examples of how to incorporate videos, images, and other documents. One of the first things I did before I started my lesson planning was set a tone and background for my classroom. I included a page with

In today’s world, I believe Technology plays a tremendously important role in everything.  Technology is such an innovative and critical source that everyone is using. I strongly believe Technology is the foundation of a lot of things, it is a useful tool that enhances confidence and a learning experience. Just as we continue to grow so does technology and the need to keep on learning from it. The great thing about technology is that it has grown over the past years and continues to benefit all the people who can access it. I think one of the biggest challenges for students and teachers was being quarantined and being unable to interact – face to -face. Students had to learn and work on their own because teachers couldn’t always find the correct resources or assessments to address the student’s knowledge of what was being taught to them. As a future Educator and current undergrad student, I have evolved and learned so many new skills in the world of Digital Literacy. Knowing how to be

This app is great because it not only allows teachers to make their lessons engaging but also allows students to do their own. Some of the great qualities this app has to offer are the integration of pictures, videos, and even voice recordings rather than writing or reading activities. This app opens the door for students’ imagination and creation. Students can create their slides and edit them. Students can choose from a variety of ideas such as infographics, comic strips, videos, and even free writing. The great thing about this app is that allows students to collaborate and share ideas and work through slides.  2. Google Jam Board  Working or incorporating new technologies may seem difficult, but luckily there is a wide range of apps that help integrate technology into the classroom. Googl

My Three Visual Apps

As the world around us is changing, so is the way of learning and teaching. Visuals surround us every day, allowing us to learn. We all have different ways of learning, but visuals are something we all need because it is a great way to build memory and background knowledge. In this blog, I will further present three visual apps for students.   Khan Academy Kids is a learning app designed to ensure, inspire, and explore new methods to learn. This app is free for children of all ages (2-8). This program includes disciplines from the Common Core State Standards, such as arithmetic, reading, science, and social studies. Teachers can also use this software to create weekly calendars, and printable worksheets, track students' progress and create assignments. Instructors can also track their kids' development by designing cartoon characters for each one. Pupils might become engaged because there are so many inventive classes, games, exercises, and movies to choose from. This visual to
